There are four plans, and the price is the same whether you are in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida or Faridabad. We do not charge a distance or area surcharge, because the machine is fitted once and serviced on a route. A Faridabad address does not cost us more than a Jaitpur one.

Most households in Delhi NCR start on the ₹399 Basic plan. The one reason to spend the extra ₹100 is a UV stage: if your building runs on tanker water or an unchlorinated borewell, UV is worth having, and it comes with the copper and alkaline cartridges on the ₹499 plan rather than as a paid add-on.

What the rent includes, and what it does not

The single thing that makes a rental worth comparing against buying is that the maintenance risk moves off you. That only holds if the maintenance is genuinely inside the rent, so here it is itemised.

• The machine itself, delivered and fitted. Free installation, including the tap tee-off, mounting and drain line.
• A preventive service visit every three months, whether or not anything is wrong.
• Every sediment, carbon and post-carbon filter change. Filters are consumables and they are ours.
• The RO membrane, which is the expensive part. ₹1,500-₹2,500 to replace if you own the machine. Included.
• Booster pump, SV, float, tap and tank if any of them fail. Included.
• A breakdown visit within 24 hours of your call, at no charge.

Not included: your electricity, which for a domestic RO is roughly ₹40-₹60 a month, and the water the machine rejects, which is normal for reverse osmosis and is the same on a bought unit. There is nothing else. If a rental company's list is shorter than the one above, the difference is money you will pay later.

The security deposit, and getting it back

A refundable ₹1,000 deposit is taken when the machine is installed. It exists because we are leaving equipment worth several times that in your home, and it is returned in full when the machine is collected in working order. It is not an advance on rent and it is not a fee.

People search for "RO on rent without deposit", and those offers do exist in Delhi NCR. Read them carefully: what usually replaces the deposit is a longer lock-in, a joining fee, or a higher monthly rent that recovers the same ₹1,000 within a year and keeps recovering it after that. ₹1,000 refundable is cheaper than ₹100 a month forever.

Renting versus buying 20-litre jars

This is the comparison most households are actually making, and it is not close. A family getting through one 20-litre jar a day at ₹20 a jar spends about ₹600 a month, and that is before the part where somebody has to be home for the delivery and lift the jar onto the dispenser.

Jar water also has a sourcing problem that a purifier does not: you are trusting a supply chain you cannot inspect. Water from a machine on your own wall, with a TDS meter reading you can take yourself, is a shorter chain. We do a free TDS test at your tap before fitting anything, and again after, so the difference is a number you have seen rather than a claim we made.

Renting versus buying the machine outright

Buying looks cheaper on the day and stops looking cheaper in year two, when the warranty ends and the AMC starts. If you would rather own one, we sell them too and we will say so. Buying a new RO purifier makes sense when you own the property, plan to stay a decade, and would rather hold the asset. The dishonest version of this business is pretending renting always wins.
